CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Sarah A. Daggett is an outreach and communications strategist in Washington, D.C. Utilizing skill sets of communications, audio/video production, community organizing, education, and advocacy, she works to create social impact and tell innovative stories that drive civic engagement and social change. Originally from New York, Sarah has lived and worked in many diverse locations around the USA and Latin America, including a decade-long relationship with several Mayan communities in Chiapas, Mexico.
Sarah has supported several feature-length social issue documentaries including Emmy-Nominated THE STATE OF ARIZONA, CARBON TRADE-OFF, CAMP VICTORY: AFGHANISTAN, and BIG BUCKS, BIG PHARMA. She has analyzed education, immigration and climate change policy, created curriculum that supports education equity and told stories in English, Spanish, Maya Tzotzil, and Dari. She has supported advocacy campaigns for immigrant rights, indigenous rights, climate action, educational equity, disability rights, and racial justice. She was a 2017 Fellow with the Leadership for Educational Equity Public Leaders Fellowship and a 2018 Fellow with Docs In Progress. She holds a BA in History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania.
